Notice to Consumer:
If you need to stop a payment from going through or change your payment details we require 72 hours notice by phone or in writing. Please call 1-800-270-9938 or email the request to firstname.lastname@example.org , be sure to put the words "STOP PAY" in the subject line and indicate the following information in the body of the email:
- Name on account
- Consumer name if different than the name on the accountVeritas File Number
- Date of payment to be stopped and or modified
- Amount of payment to be stopped and or modified
- a call back number where you can be reached
You, the Payor may revoke your authorization at any time (in writing or by phone) subject to providing notice of 14 Business days. To obtain sample cancellation form, or for more information on your right to cancel PAD Agreement, contact your financial institution or visit www.cdnpay.ca.
You have certain recourse rights if any debit does not comply with this agreement. For example, you have the right to receive reimbursement for any debit that is not authorized or is not consistent with this PAD Agreement.
